How do I connect my Google Calendar to FranFlow?

Connecting your Google Calendar allows FranFlow to see when you are busy so candidates cannot book meetings during those times.

This prevents double bookings and keeps your schedule accurate.

Once connected, FranFlow will:

✔ Check your Google Calendar for busy times
✔ Block unavailable slots from your booking calendar
✔ Add scheduled meetings to your Google Calendar automatically

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

✔ A Google account (Gmail or Google Workspace)
✔ Access to your Google Calendar
✔ Your Google login information

You will also need permission to connect third-party apps. If you aren't sure about this, go to the Admin Center in your Google Account by using the grid icon in the top right corner of your calendar. You can always read more in Google's help center here: Set up Calendar Sharing Options.

Step-by-Step: Connect Google Calendar

  1. Log into FranFlow

  2. Click Settings

  3. Click Calendars

  4. Click Connections

  5. Select Add New

  6. Select Connect next to Google Calendar

  7. A Google login window will appear

  8. Log into the Google account you want to connect

  9. Click Allow when Google asks for permissions

  10. Return to FranFlow

Your Google Calendar should now show as Connected. Check out the gif below to see the steps in action:

What Happens After You Connect

Once connected:

• FranFlow reads your Google Calendar
• Busy times automatically block booking slots
• Meetings scheduled in FranFlow appear on your Google Calendar
• Calendar reminders work correctly

This keeps your personal calendar and FranFlow calendar aligned.

‼️ Important Tips:

✔ Always connect the same Google account you check daily

✔ If you use multiple Google calendars, confirm which one is the primary calendar

✔ Test your booking link after connecting
