How to Connect Video Conferencing in FranFlow (Zoom & Google Meet)

FranFlow allows you to automatically include a meeting link (Zoom or Google Meet) when a candidate books a call.

Why This Matters

Without a connected video platform:

  • Candidates won’t receive a meeting link

  • You’ll have to send links manually

  • The experience feels incomplete

Step 1: Connect Your Calendar First

Before connecting video conferencing:

✔ Make sure your Google or Outlook calendar is connected

Step 2: Connect Zoom or Google Meet

  • Go to Settings → Calendars

  • Select your calendar

  • Locate Meeting Location or Video Conferencing

Choose Your Option

  • Zoom

  • Google Meet

For Google Meet

If using Google Calendar:

✔ Google Meet can auto-generate links

For Zoom

You may need to:

  • Connect your Zoom account

  • Authorize permissions

Step 3: Assign to Calendar

Once connected:

  • Set the meeting location for each calendar

  • Save your settings

What Happens Next

When a candidate books:

✔ A meeting link is automatically generated
✔ The link is included in confirmation messages
✔ The event is added to your calendar

🪄 Best Practices:

✔ Use one consistent platform (Zoom or Google Meet)

✔ Test your setup before using

✔ Include the meeting link in confirmations

Common Issues

No Meeting Link Showing

Check:

  • Calendar is connected

  • Video platform is selected

  • Settings are saved

Wrong Meeting Link

Make sure:

  • You’re using the correct calendar

  • The correct platform is assignee
