How to Create & Manage Custom Fields and Tags

This guide walks you through how to create, update, and manage Custom Fields and Tags inside FranFlow.

Where to Find Them

  • Go to Settings โ†’ Custom Fields

  • Tags are managed directly on the Contact record

How to Create a Custom Field

Steps

  • Go to Settings โ†’ Custom Fields

  • Click Add Field

  • Choose field type (text, dropdown, number, etc.)

  • Name your field clearly

  • Click Save

How to Update a Custom Field

  • Open a Contact

  • Scroll to the Custom Fields section

  • Enter or update the value

Before Creating a Custom Field

Always check:

โœ” Is this already a standard field?
โœ” Am I duplicating data?

How to Add a Tag

Manual

  • Open a Contact

  • Find the Tags section

  • Type the tag

  • Press Enter

Automated

Tags can also be applied via:

  • Workflows

  • Form submissions

  • Pipeline movement

How to Remove a Tag

  • Open the Contact

  • Click the X next to the tag
